تعلن السفارة البريطانية والمجلس الثقافي البريطاني عن فتح باب الترشيح للحصول على عدد محدود من منح التشيفنينغ المرموقة للعام الدراسي 2013-2014 والتي ستمكن المرشحين الناجحين من الدراسة بالمملكة المتحدة للحصول على شهادة في الدراسات العليا من إحدى الجامعات البريطانية المرموقة.
تغطي منحة تشيفنينغ رسوم وتكاليف الدراسة ومصاريف رحلة من وإلى المملكة المتحدة، وتكاليف التسجيل للدراسة في إحدى الجامعات البريطانية إضافة إلى تكاليف المعيشة لمدة سنة بالمملكة المتحدة.
المجلس الثقافي البريطاني هو المسير الإداري لبرنامج وزارة الخارجية البريطانية الخاص بمنح التشيفنينيغ.

Chevening in Algeria
Chevening scholarships in Algeria are for talented people who have been identified as potential future leaders, decision makers and opinion formers. We accept applications from a wide range of subject areas, however, we particularly welcome applications in the following fields:
- Human rights and human rights law
- Civil society and democracy studies
- Politics and international relations
- Business management
- Energy and renewable energy
- Engineering and sustainable development
- Education and education management
The scholarships not only offer financial support to study for a Master’s degree at the UK’s leading universities, but the opportunity to become part of an influential and highly regarded global network.
Since the programme began in 1983 there have been over 170 Chevening scholars from Algeria.
How to apply for a Chevening Scholarship in Algeria
Application timetable
- We are now accepting applications for 2013/14 Chevening Scholarships in Algeria. The closing date for applications is 14 December 2012.
Before applying
- Read the guidance for 2013/14 applicants and our general information about applying for a Chevening Scholarship.
- Please note that there are new English language requirements for 2013/14 applicants and you MUST have a valid English language certificate BEFORE applying for a Chevening Scholarship. If you do not have an existing eligible test certificate you should book an English language test NOW.
- NB – the following tests are available in Algeria:
IELTS test are scheduled to take place on 1 and 8 December. Please be aware that places are filling up fast so for further information on how to register please visit the IELTS website.
TEOFL tests are scheduled to take place on 1, 7 and 8 December. Please be aware that places are filling up fast so for further information on how to register please visit the TEOFL website.
- Applicants who have been awarded a Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following countries are exempt from submitting an English Language test:
Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, New Zealand, Singapore, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, the UK, and the United States of America.
